I don't know if I can go with that. It looks like something else to me. Like shaking a soda can or something.
Put down a coat of bed liner and put some rubberized undercoat on top of that.

Reinstalled the second row seats and dug up my old Eagle Creek duffle to consolidate all the crap that rolls around back there. I think I've finalized the location of my fuel can.

I like it! Very utilitarian! I have thought about going this route when my carpets finally wear out. I dig it.
To be sure it's a "little" louder, but not any more than any other tactical vehicle I've been in.
The stiffening pattern in the floor is actually quite clean and attractive. Plus my carpets were rotted badly.![]()
Well, that sounds like and epic adventure. The plan at the moment is to hit Guadalupe Canyon for a few days, do some rock climbing and exploring the area, then find an off-road way over the Sierra de Juarez toward the coast. There are some Missions back in there I'd like to check out. Hit some surf spots, beaches. We want to spend a few nights in Guadalupe Valley, sort of an up and comeing foodie/wine region near Ensenada. And more hiking. And hot springs.
I hope there's not too many so cal people there, though.
