Already take care of. I noticed it in the picture :flipoff2:

Just wanna be sure your rig is ready for the trip without any issues :flipoff2::steer:

NLXTACY your second clamp from the right needs to be rotated down about 15* :flipoff2:

And the one on the other side of the heater valve is upside down lol

Installed my depos that nick built up. Test fit the rear sub in Shane's new sub panel. And installed my rear roof spoiler

Really like the look of the headlights - think I need to tint the corners just a bit ....

The subwoofer makes a huge difference and runs week free air for now until I get the rear panel finished - I'm installed a section of starboard and a spacer in to make a grille sit flush and give a surface for an vertex to mount to and also an access panel for storage

The rear spoiler will get monstaliner next weekend along with the roof. Decided to tin the white down a notch with green / tan to compliment the sage....View attachment 905822View attachment 905823 View attachment 905824

Finally test drove it!!!!

It's at least out of my garage. Couple of minor loose ends and it's good to go.

Garage is a mess :(

How does she drive? No more clicking? Gotta test your radiator tomorrow!
I drove it all of the length of the driveway because I need to top up the transmission fluid. I let the truck heat up and after about 20mins of sitting it finally hit 190º and just stayed there. Now that I have the new flush/purge mod its dead simple to bleed out the air. I have flushed out the cooling system completely and there is just distilled water sitting in there now. In the morning I will dump it all and do the 50/50 mix.

This is nice. Was your rim pitting before?

After replacing all the vacuum lines in the engine bay, flushing the coolant, new radiator hoses, clamps, and Toyota red coolant I installed my Slee rear bumper :grinpimp:

Had to grind off a plate that was welded from the crossmember onto the hitch!

And then went to Hidden Falls to try everything out.

The only thing left to do! I was surprised I didn't hit them at all when we were there. I dropped off some big ledges and was certain at least one of them was going to hit. :p

I'm working this weekend unfortunately. How often do you go wheeling? I need more people to go wheeling with since the couple we usually go with are too busy with their infant to make it out much.

Most of the corrosion was in the painted area, but there was some in the machined surface area also.

Wow that was cheap. I just had 5 80 rims powder coated in just one color with no clear coat and no tire mounting and it came out to $120 a rim. They look really good but the price seemed a little up there. The shop I went to said the amount of time it takes to do 2 colors on a rim makes the price go way up.

I'm having my spare tire cross member and rear tow hooks blasted and powder coated at a different company and they said that they get $80.00 per rim for blasting and powder coating. The company that refurbished my LX rims quoted $500.00 to powder coat a set of Suburban rims which is why I was surprised that they quoted me $125.00 per rim or 110.00 per rim if I did all four.

You must have been one of the 20 folks that got a slee is the latest run. I have mine sitting in the garrage waiting to be installed...looks great! How long did the install take you?

$110 is great considering what all they did. All they did on mine was blast and powder coat. But it also sounds like the place you went does nothing but wheels. The place I took mine powder costs everything

Got quite a bit of work done for our 6 week camping trip. We leave in the next week.
- Made a mount for the hi-lift jack to attach to the Gobi roof rack
IMG_0090.webp
- Installed a second fridge (Dometic CDF-11) which will be used as a freezer. This fits perfectly between the front seats, and as a bonus has two cup holders!
IMG_0094.webp
- Got a shower installed on the rear of the roof rack, as well as 2 Rigid LED's. The lights will be used to light up the camp.

Yeah I called to order one shortly after they ran out and got put on the waiting list.

It took a while but I also had to grind off a plate that the previous owner had welded on to repair the hitch. 6 hours total from unboxing to closing the swingouts. We had a hell of time getting that damn plate off.
