Thats awesome! I havent seen the 63s on a 60 before. Mostly on firstgen 4runners and stuff. The 63s probably fit the 4runner FJ60 much better. I know on my 4runner i went with ford 51 inch springs out back because the 63s were so long. I bet it rides super good.

edit, meant to say fit under the fj60 better not 4runner. The 4runner is way smaller ha

Couple of weeks ago, but I'm proud of this. Won the beater award at #gsmtr this year. Someone in the crowd asked if it still ran, lmao.

A-pillar is decimated in this pic.

Changed out the Bilsteins that have been on for ca. 100k miles. The old ones are still usable and will be going on our other 60 1985 3FE Swapped FJ60, a Refresh - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/1985-3fe-swapped-fj60-a-refresh.1309046/

The shock mount pin size is 19 mm but the inner diameter of the Bilstein bushing is 15 mm. Third pic is my attempt to force the undersized busing onto the shock pin. I came within a few mm of having it forced on and it was at that point that I decided to measure. @cruiserinsanity had a pair of Energy Suspension bushing in the correct size so I pilfered those so that I could finish mounting the shocks.

😂It’s probably runs better and more reliable than most 60s on the road…. and it’s rust free. It’s mint.

I'm looking forward to your review. Been thinking about this for a bit.

Headed over to the shop to start up the LV and charge battery. Big brother got to see where he came from “cruiser roots” Going to hit the LV hard and paint it after rear ff bearing repack on the 60.

Do you know the color code on this paint?
I was thinking about painting my 60 the current Toyota army green, but that is exactly the shade I’ve been dreaming of.
There was no specific color code for it; the painter mixed many samples for the client then he picked one.
