Spent some time installing my San Francisco mod this weekend after my windows got ventilated while on a hike in Humboldt County... That was a cold drive home.

I wish I could say it was mine but it’s actually a buddies wood shop that he let me borrow. I actually don’t have a garage at all so it’s nice to have friends willing lend a hand when I’m in need
Found these under the front of my GX today. Anyone know what hole this is supposed to plug?

Bummer sad to hear Humboldt is having troubles too. Where at if you don't mind sharing?
Oil change.... and ALL new brakes.... front drivers side caliper AND passenger rear caliper were both seized up so I bit the bullet and replaces all 4 corners. Calipers, rotors and pads as well as a fluid flush. I was going to upgrade but decided to leave every stock as even with 2 seized calipers it stopped pretty damn well!

I think the factory front skid plate has those installed
Just finished my MPC Autostart install which was a bit more of a PITA than I anticipated but got it done before it got too cold. Also, since I had my seat out already I made some DIY seat risers from some steel tubing I had laying around.

Started prepping for replacement of my steering rack. My actual rack is fine but the bushings are totally shot and the rack is wobbly. A Cardone remain was around $250 on Rock Auto. Given the apparent difficulty of pulling the rack out, I'm just going to replace the whole thing. Hopefully I can finish it in one whole day tomorrow.
I think it was a very reasonable price for both shipped from the UAE. It arrived very quickly as well. I believe the set I purchased is the gloss version as I have seen a matte version as well.

installed Eibach stage 2 kit and also got lucky and scored some FJC 8 holes (5) on 285/70/17 K02’s for a killer price on offer up.
I’ll drive it some more and let it settle, but it seems like the front needs to go up a tad bit, but we’ll see I’m a couple days.

Love those FJC 8 holes. Hunting for a cheap set to get powder coated in black.
Started my "Mark Levinson delete" project... removed the ML subwoofer and fashioned up some aluminum brackets and ABS to hide a mono amplifier for an aftermarket subwoofer.
Finally got to do some light offroading and possibly a bit reckless frozen puddle crossings with the new setup. Really liking how responsive, maneuverable and comfortable the GX is with the Dobinson's suspension. Far more comfortable and confidence inspiring than our stock LC200 was and I'm also a whole lot less concerned with scratching or breaking something.
Will watch your build with great interest!
Now that I’ve got the non-nav conversion done, wanting to do an amp + new speakers.
