Removed my ABS and LSPV, once it was all removed found a cut in the rubber boot that was causing my brake fluid to leak. Now I just need to pull the ABS light and replace my "D" light while I have the cluster out. Hopefully I won't regret this mod. Does anybody have a source for the "D" light?

Post some pics of your line routing under the hood.

I replaced my D light when I removed my ABS light only to find I hated it and since removed it. If it wasnt such a PIA I would do the same on our LX470.

I was hesitate about changing the D light for the same reason.

I reolaced my D light and its dimmer than the other indicator lights. Doesnt bother me. FYI, the wife's RX300 has never had a D light.

I found a thread years ago about sourcing the little bulbs from an online bulb source. I replaced a bunch of burned out bulbs in switches and on the dash including the D light. Since the RX never had one, I figured it was dim by design so as not to be distracting. I like it. I can't recall if the D light is the same as the B2 bulbs in the switches but I had to unwind the leads from the B2 black bulb holder, remove the old bulb and then insert these new ones. A lot like changing a christmas tree light bulb. Here's the link for the bulbs I purchased:

Excellent, thank you.

I found my original post from 2013 but I didn't indicate if the D light was the same bulb. I think it has the same B2 base from what I can recall. The button lights look just like my new OEM Center Diff lock switch as far as intensity.

It turns out the D light is the same intensity as all the other gear selection letters UNLESS you turn on the headlights, then ONLY the D light dims. I run around with my headlights on all the time so I never noticed that until I tested it at lunch.

D light (and the rest of the gear selection letters) bulb is brighter than the switch bulb. 10+ years ago, D light bulb was 99 cents and switch bulb was close to $8. I installed D light bulb in switch. I could see it was brighter compare to other switches, also warmer to touch as well, but not hot enough to melt anything or cause any other issue.

@92LXAZ , I love the way the combo looks! The 305/65/17 is one of the sizes I was thinking of putting on my RWs for my 200. I have a slightly different color combo in mind though.

@jclarke450 I would do it. I searched high and low and I've never seen this size on them.

I guess that means you haven't installed yours, yet!?

We learned a few things to make the job a little easier, though. We can catch up on the specifics. The did bolt up well and solidly. These things are easily 3X the weight of the factory steps, and having 2 sets of hands (and jacks) on the job makes it easy. If you change your mind about powdercoating, we used ARC Powdercoating in Glendale, and was recommended by @murf . Adrien did an outstanding job, with quick turnaround, and a good price as a package deal.

Part #s for the JDM flaps are: 76604-60011, BM2203A, and 76603-60011, BJ1601B, Mudguard S, UB-assy, F, and I plan to get a set on order come Monday. Thanks to you and Saddletramp for the various "steps" to get these here!
