OK I see what your looking at, yes that is broken, @jclarke450 found the small Crack on that hose on the Montana mountain run, starting throwing random codes last weekend so I had the new hose ready to install with the snorkel

@blatant , how much lift did you end up netting with the OME kit. You went 275/70/18s it appears. Looks good!

I'll have to measure, haven't had a chance to measure after. Yeah 275/70/18's Toyo AT2's. Seems that many folks run that size w/o a lift with next to no issues, seems big to me if no lift but evidently it's being done with little fanfare. I think looks very tasteful and practical. I may add a diff drop to get the cv's closer to stock but the angles not really that bad. I really like it and the wife really likes it. The lift feels huge given how these sit stock, but now it drives like a truck, nice and tight and i no longer feel like i'm riding low.

Yep. I tossed around a couple of options, but in the end decided KO2s were the way to go.

Do you notice any appreciable power loss? The KO2's are substantially heavier then their predecessor.

I didn't notice any appreciable power loss. However, I did switch from 33x12.5s to 33x10.5s. So that might have offset any weight gain with the newer style.

Just some routine love this week for my 80. A fresh drink of some synthetic blend Rotella, new filters and a good bath. Today I installed a DC front driveshaft. I absolutely hated the vibrations that developed after I installed my new suspension so I had one built.

Almost there......... 5 months have brought a completely rebuilt motor, new lift, new tires, new radiator and this past week has been ARB front with winch, Trail Tailor Sliders, and a rear dual swing out build. Dying to break her in. Cant wait to finish up in the next few weeks and meet you all at the next meet!

Don't all prerunners come with the E-locker? A locker makes a big difference, especially with someone who know how get the most of what they have.
No sir. The first gen Tacoma prerunner (95.5-04) did in the trd model. 2nd gen(05-15) prerunners only had lockers in the trd off-road models. The trd sport models had a mechanical lsd from 05-08. 09 they received a auto "lsd" that uses brake pulsation to help slow slipping tire allowing more power to transfer to opposite tire.

That explains it. His is a TRD Off Road 2nd generation. Isn't the auto LSD really just the TRAC system? My 2010 4WD Sequoia has a LSD light on the dash. Maybe TRAC is for 4WD and the LSD is what they call it on 2WD. Haven't used the Sequoia off road enough to play with all the modes.

Correct the Trac system it's for 4wd systems as it is utilized front and rear. The auto lsd is only for the 2wd since it only works on the rear

Almost rear ended a Ford SUV with no brake lights on 101.

Almost as scary as passing on a two lane in the 4-5 am twilight hours and staring head on at some idiot that thinks he can see just fine without headlights.
