Yeah, good trip so far in these beautiful states. Bear Canyon Lake/White Mtns AZ, Nelson Reservoir/Nutrioso AZ, Silver City NM, Gila Hot Springs NM, Gila Cliff Dwellings NM, Lake Roberts NM, City Of Rocks NM, Las Cruces NM (visiting family), and tomorrow??? Socorro, Datl, Reserve???
One of our favorite ways to come back home.
Last time we headed west from Ruidoso it was mostly 2 lanes (with a short stint on I-25 to Socorro). Beautiful country.
There is some beautiful scenery in Nm. We will be headed there soon for a few days. We will be farther North though. This is from one of our last trips. All of the wife and I's family is there.
All done. 1183 beautiful miles and the only casualty on the truck is a 12" crack in the windshield. My brand new windshield! Ugh!

@Pitch Thanks! It all worked great. The fairing definitely helps with the noise and I'm super happy that my homemade half rack, when empty, clears my garage door by about 1/2 inch! Haha.
Removed the 30mm spacers and stock springs from the rear and added OME 860s. Seems a little taller than I expected. Hoping it will settle a bit over the next few days. Also put my 33s back on.

Finally got around to replacing my broken tail light lens. Luckly it broke where it did, any higher and would have damaged the housing/divider.
New lens installed. Need to be careful not to break it again before I get a shed installed and clear some stuff out of the garage. Applied for permission from the HOA today for the shed. Took all of fifteen minutes to get that done.
Replace the struts in the hatch. Rust free cruiser but all four bolts where frozen. Using a open end on my Gear Wrench ratchet wrench it just expanded and slipped. Thought I was going to have to cut off the pivot ball and use a six point socket but a Vise Grip and hammer to give a good shock did the trick.
I also went for a short trip out of the subdivision to check out my single hand driving skills.
One of my old work buddies hangs out at my garage most of the time. Since my wife isn't happy me going out alone all the time I decided I would take him along.

Finally addressed an old exhaust problem. In the past my exhaust dumped into my Labs bumper making a horrible noise at 4200rpm when pulling hills. It created so much heat it melted my drain hoses from the rear panels
