The Subaru's windshield is getting fixed on Wednesday after getting a second chip that has cracked. The 100 has two good chips that need to get fixed also. The 80 is the only one in decent shape. Hesitant to get the Cruisers fixed due to all the problems with leaks after a replacement.
From on my travels up and down the 51 twice a day for work I get chips here and there. Ive done a much better job the last 24 months having our on-site windshield people fill the chips soon after they happen. Not only does it make it hard to see the chip, overall I get more life out of the windshields by avoiding them turning into cracks.
If you have glass coverage, I think most insurance companies will pay to have your chips fixed for you.
