This is true. I have a number of recorded instances of Charles having a keen eye for the "what looks good" situation.

Including one of my own pictures. I went a step further and made it my "background".

When I'm not boring holes in the sky at eight tenths the speed of sound, I'm actually very artsy fartsy.

Drained, exchanged and bled the power steering fluid on the LJ78... or as I like to call it: bathed in inexperience, sweat and AT fluid.

But i did not break anything, the old stuff was a pretty foul color and it didn't take me 6 weeks so we'll call that a win!

Installed my Safari snorkel this weekend! If you take your time and have the right tools it was not too hard.

Ummm, what tools did you need to have?

A step bit drills a really smooth hole for the mounting bolts on the fender vs a single size drill bit. Before the large hole you need a drill with a lot of torque so you can go slow but push a little on it and not bog down the drill. Everything else is either a socket or combination wrench. I bypassed using rivets and used small bolts for the air intake.

There are some you tube videos out there from safari that helped and it is key to have your template in exactly the right place and do it in the exact order that the instructions say so you don't have to undo and redo things

Nice snorkel install
I hope the small bolts where stainless steel as it could be a pain in a few years.
Just trying to help :)

The Wife said I should drive the Mazda 6 until I am healthy.... I am beginning to think I might have been sabotaged.

Your wife has been discussing her plan in the "Chat Section" for weeks.

That bone repair looks like a 1HZ timing belt. (Tech discussion)

smells of vanila.jpg

Vanilla extract is a solution containing the flavor compound vanillin as the primary ingredient. Pure vanilla extract is made by macerating and percolating vanilla beans in a solution of ethyl alcohol and water. (tech discussion)
