I have those same 35x10.5 tires mounted on 17x7 4runner steelies on my Troopy. 31x10.5R15 on the Tacoma.

Are you running wheel spacers with those?
Thats my only issues is finding 17" rims, then getting spacers. I assume outside a custom rim, you aren't finding the right back spacing?

Curious what your measurments are for the red and green lines on the front at back. Not sure what lift you have, OME?
These are what I have. No spacers on mine. I'm running BF Goodrich KM2's in 255/75/17... spec'd as 32.1x10 but they actually measured out to be like 31.5" tall. I only get a little rubbing in one of my front wheel wells in reverse only on a locked out turn... one of the tires grabs my inner fender apron material.
Yes, unfortunately I am running 1" spacers. That puts those 4runner rims to just about stock position. 1.25" spacers might be a little better option, or best if one could get the rims Honger has. There are custom options out there but too pricey for me at this time.
@Honger, I think it's pretty close to stock height, maybe a slight lift. I can take some measurements later along what @FJBen mocked up in the photo and post those. If your troopy has stock suspension I would be interested in those numbers. The Tacoma in the photo has about a 1.5-2.0" lift and the wheel wells sit pretty even to the troopy's.

I also had the same wheels on the PZJ70 (No spacers also) and my experience with them is the same as you. Great wheels but not easy to obtain it seems like.

Took the kids up in the hills to play in the snow. Found about 18" of nice fresh powder. I'm also learning more about snow wheeling with big MT's. I've always run tall skinny with v-bar chains at all corners, and thought MT's would be terrible. But I must admit, 35" MT's at 12psi are definitely superior in deep snow. Love these tires! Will keep the skinny Duratracs/chains for ice use.

We've been putting all our energy into our home remodel, so the Troopy hasn't seen much action but yesterday I drove out to the Caja to hide an ammo box from Baja Designs with a bunch of goodies inside. Tomorrow I'm going to post up a riddle to help the locals find it. Kind of like the Fenn treasure but way easier to find and not worth anywhere near the same. hah.
On the way home, I drove a double track loop I've wanted to scout for bike rides. Seeing the Jemez and Sangre get slammed with snow made it feel like Christmas.
