Got the Red Rocket suited up with some Christmas lights :) Now I just wait and see how long it takes for me to get pulled.

Ah.. I just tried partsouq and they didn’t have it, and locally in the US.

Man if I was in your neck of the woods I’d just go through Onur or I’ve heard Tabasco Landcruiser’s in the US can get just about anything.

Added some aux lights. Wanted something that seemed time period correct. I like these. Right now they are in the factory bumper holes, but I think I’ll move them closer to the center, on either side of the license plate. I like that look more.

A few weeks ago I did a shoot for BF Goodrich with the Troopy... felt good to drive up to our favorite road after staying local for the past few months. We finally finished working on our house so I'm going to start with the interior build out soon. That means ripping the interior out, degreasing the tub, Master Series coating the tub, and actually spraying the interior walls with OE paint since they're so beaten up from the car's previous life in Straya.

Any info on that hood scoop?

Well, follow the fsm or don't work on your car. PO syndrome. Makes me mad. Just lucky the spindle is ok, otherwise it's new axle time on a FF rear.

And a hammer and chisel won't do... I've seen that. Get the correct tool, and the correct torque can be applied. In my case, I like to go a slight but tighter, I'm running bigger wheels and making very acceptable power.

Ready to go to straighten frame and body shop

My washer pump stopped working and decided to investigate..
IMG_9022.JPG

The problem: Impellers broke off and jammed the pump
IMG_9024.JPG

The fix: Glued them back on and hope it stays together to use until replacement order arrives.

What kind of glue? CA?

looks like another 3d printable part (that I could never make in a million years.)

Your photography is the gift that keeps giving.

True stories of "At the drive-thru getting food" with a RHD 70 series...todays episide

Straya...
cashier: Whoa, You're not from around here? when noticing the RHD awesome 70 series...

Me:
SAzETVM.gif

I literally said: "straya, mate" in an australian accent....

cashier: "AWESOME!" then proceeds to start chanting "Oz, Oz, Oz" ac/dc style

me: takes food, "cheers mate" then leaves

I drive away with a slight pang of shame and guilt over my bad stereotypical Australian accent and assumptions. That quickly fades as I chuckle thinking someone thought it was a cool interaction in this dogs breakfast of a world we are living in that a Fair Dinkum Aussie visited the restaurant he worked at. So I chucked a skid to the bottle-o for some grog and tinnies of Tooheys Old before ducking off for a kip.

 ok, so the last paragraph may have been embellished a little bit...I mean we all know the 13BT isn't know for it's burn-out prowess...

Well done cobber 👍🏻

brakes were slughish since 1-2 years , but I was more lazy then them .
so at last I decided to rebuild the front calipers .
rather easy job , but annoying .
once finished , with new seals ,rubber, pads ,oil , braking distance turned back to what I remember , good .
