Tired of bolting through the floor, so I took the carpet and sound-mat out this past week, put in some riv-nuts and plywood, skinned with some rubber matting. Still waiting on Amazon and McMaster-Carr to finish it. But managed to get my new fridge, temporarily installed.

In preparation for an upcoming 8-day trip, I’ve installed an intercooler to the 1HDT, mounted RTT, finished some exhaust work and built a 2 can fuel carrier. I still have a few small projects to finish but only a handful of days to do it. So I may Just run it and enjoy it.

I’ll send the hood scoop off for paint after I get back from the trip.

the intercooler seems to help EGTs at highway speed. There’s plenty of power left, it’s just about finessing the engine without overdoing it.

What scoop did you get?
How much did your intercooler drop EGT temps?

It’s for a 2013-14 mustang GT. It’s plastic I trimmed a bit of the Bottom front because it came with a slight curve and our hoods are more flat. A little weather strip would solve any gap issues.

I dont Know if I’d describe it as dropping EGT temps as much as it slows the temp from reaching the upper limits as easily. 1250-1300 degrees F is what I consider my upper limits and try to stay below. Note that this is in the Dallas area and we’re relatively flat. I have been able to cruise at 70mph comfortbly while before, I felt Like I was Watching my EGT gauge the whole time.

looks nice.....I was thinking about selling mine :nailbiting: keep looking at Mitsubishi Delica L300's because i feel like I don't go wheeling as much as I think I do and would like more room inside. i dunno.

loaded some logs - I have 2 receivers on the front (they're off set) so I can run the winch right down the middle of the trailer. works great sometimes I use a block if I need to redirect the winch line.....

Where'd you order your ARB bumper from? Mine is all hacked up (came off a 70 rock crawler) and doesn't appear to be that structurally sound. I'm about to get a winch and not sure it would actually pull the truck out. Would like to support a Mud vendor if possible...

@cruiseroutfit stocks lots of 70 Series stuff including front ARB bumpers. I have had great service and support from them and can't recommend them enough. They also stock Come Up winches in 12V and 24V.

As stated above cruiser outfitters has them, and lots of other 70 series parts. PM coming

Ditto that. I ordered mine a few weeks ago. ARB was backordered and it will be shipping direct to my house on Friday :)

Now that I got the rear bumper issue resolved. I am trying to decide on a front bumper as well.

On another note: I have been using the reflective sunshades for the front windshield and two front doors when I do drive the HZJ77 to work and they work very well keeping the heat under control in the Texas sun. My truck does not feel so damn hot when I walk back to it at 5pm to go home.

The kit I purchased has 9 pieces for all glass around the vehicle except the sunroof but I will only be using the front 3 pieces most of the time for front windshield and two front doors.

I wish they did make a panel for the sunroof so I could put one in there somehow and just leave the sliding panel closed since I never use the sunroof. Some heat does get in from there.

Are you considering just a basic bumper or a brush bar?

What is a "basic bumper"? No winch or brush bar?

I do like the classic ARB look but still very much undecided. Oddly I find the porch bumper useful at times but also a good way to forget that your tools are there.

I guess I was as clear as MUD. :)
This is what I had in mind when I said “basic” bumper.
