what changed in 8/80 for shackles

Hi there does anyone know what the difference is in a front suspension spring shackle before and after 8/80?

Seems like there was a difference in the pin size... Larger for later if I remember? Ask Kurt from cruiseroutfitters.

Yup, they got bigger for the 1981 model year. IIRC, they went from 15mm to 18mm. Don't quote me on the sizes though.

the OD of the bushing is larger also.
