ROBBED!????Made some disassembly and painting progress on the new axle today… thanks to @matzell for helping me troubleshoot a jury rigged pinion shaft pin set up (“just try tipping it over on its end to see if it will fall out”); also had the instrument cluster off while things dried to chase some lights that wouldn’t come on — mostly needed to clean contacts; went back to halogen bulb headlights and repainted the grille trim over the weekend — the cityracer LEDs low beam bulbs died over relic run (curious about this flaw, bc it happened to both and I got the multimeter out and it was def not a wiring issue); and then just cleaned up small parts and hardware between getting robbed and zoom calls the rest of the day; waiting on a bunch of gaskets and a couple bearings and a new atm card to make more progress… some highs / some lows today.

Dude, get Autumn an old phone and tell her to take your pictures. HAHAToo busy working and not taking pics but one thing turned into another on the crossmember patch job. Did some hack welding to fix the rust in the outer edges of the rear crossmember. No way for dirt or water to get out so it just sits there. Kept some areas open so I can flush it out for the future. The holes misplaced the mounting for the rear sway bar so I will drill and tap that later this week. My sway bar links were so busted I took the ones from the blue cruiser and diy extended them. Paint is drying now and should be good to reinstall once I tap for mounting. Made them a little shorter than last time maybe my last ones were too long and that was causing them to buckle. Been taking apart the blue cruiser when I have time. I made my money back this week from selling parts. Some bigger $$ ones were fuel filler neck and transmission crossmember. Will post pics up tomorrow if I can remember.
What paint have you been using? Well… pick pocketed?ROBBED!????
It's been pretty nice. Facebook marketplace hasn't disappointed "this time". There has been one 1 buyer from mud which was surprising. If you do not mind a little hussle and some time, one can make some money parting out a rig.
Seymour 620-1433 - flat black. It's more expensive than say a rustoleum. I have a couple cans around for where I want something tougher, but what do I really know....What paint have you been using? Looks nice

I have heard good things about Seymour from the flex rocks and rollovers YouTube channel. Will try them next. @matzell i had some issues with a couple of the cans of hard hat enamel. The ones that worked were great but others wouldn't spray right...Seymour 620-1433 - flat black. It's more expensive than say a rustoleum.
