actually, avatars and some of the "frequently" used images to render the page...not uploades
Javascript will remain locally hosted until we determin if the origin pull CDN was the issue...might need to handle as hosted instead.
if there is anything i can do to help.....
this forum has taken me from a TOTAL newbie to being able to actually do Mods on my cruiser.... will always remain grateful...and wish i could help in anyway.

as of today, I have decided I really like the new forum better than the old one

this probably applies to less than 100 of us but i use the twitter accounts that are linked to the parts classifieds and vehicles classifieds to get immediate alerts. i noticed that they stopped working after the update. does anyone know how to work around this with some other form of notification (other than watching threads or a million emails to sort through) or if the twitter accounts will be up and running?

You need to revisit each Watched thread/forum to reset the notification point...odd bug that another member discovered

The functionality is all there. Unsure why it is not working. I have never used email notifications, but guess I'll have to set a few up and see what happens.

Woody ... wondering if there might be some slowness / latency issues or some intermittent problems. I got an e-mail almost immediately with your post (#161 above), but have been getting some e-mails as much as a day later.
*** On edit, there was a delay on the notification of 1:18 between your post and the e-mail ****
An example (though not of that long a delay) is that the linked post here was posted at 9:38 this morning, but the e-mail alert came in at 3:09 this afternoon ....
Just a though ... most definitely not a complaint
