Update:

I'll take it How Much??? Thats really sharp.:clap::clap:

Been looking for some folks to ride with in the GA area and stumbled upon this club. Unfortunately, I'm a little far away to participate in a lot of group activities but would love to join in on some rides.

My truck is a 1981 SR5 that I have been slowly building over the past couple of years. After I got a majority of the rust somewhat beat back and got some maintenance issues worked out, I have done a full de-smog with Weber 32/36, TG headers, and rear Zip locker. At this point it sees more asphalt than dirt, but I hope to change that. I do miss the old paint/graphic scheme, but not as much as the rust.

When I bought it:

Athens so not too far from most of you. My kids keep me pretty busy, but I would love to try and make some short trips with you guys.

We go to Durhamtown a couple times a year and it is not too far from you

I've been wanting to check out durhamtown but from what I've seen I would like to go with others due to the amount of mud. I'll try and keep up with the calendar and make a trip.

that's been the reputation but the fact is they've put in a lot of work over the last couple of years to change that and give us more dry areas.

Park 1--the original park is very muddy. Park 2--opened about 2 years ago now offers more rocks and hill climbs. Check out some pics from our last ride a few weeks ago for examples.

Sold the Bronco a few weeks ago and bought this little 4 cylinder a few days ago.

Good to be back in a Toyota.

ohhhh baby, I can just see it now! Year, looks like an 86? Plans? you must keep the the step rails. :flipoff2:

Ted I think it's pre-86. Looks like SA to me.

Pretty clean for a stock 2nd gen SA 4x4. Nice find. Need some All-Pro 6" lift springs? They're pretty well used and may need a little duct tape to be perfect again. haha

hah, funny! I thought the exact opposite, looks IFS to me but if Cid hangs on to it through the afternoon maybe he'll let us know. :grinpimp:

SA truck. 240K showing, but about 40K on rebuilt engine. 22RE. 1985 model, you know I like those '85 models. It is a good running truck, I have been driving it since Tuesday night and have only burned about a 1/3 of a tank. Looking to buy some factory wheels for it from drag1 and maybe some other used parts to spiff it up.

Sold the '85 tonight.
We didn't even have time to take bets on how long til you sold it! Did you try to sell it or did somebody just make an offer you couldn't refuse?

oh no that aint true, we were making those bets this past weekend. i think I had 10 days but wouldn't swear to it.

so cid-how long did it last, 1 week?

Actually, I left it at work tonight and my Dad sold it to one of his buddies for his deer camp.

And yes it was an offer I couldn't turn down.
