Thanks Mace, "Bob" is a big inspiration for this build and going big meats and low stance.

Picked up a 20" Tuff LED spot I'm going to mount on the bumper.

Then here was my quick fix but probably permanent answer to getting the exhaust from under the frame rails of a 62. I have a 1" body lift and I was able to use some galvy flex to run it over the frame and out if the way of rocks.

Watch that section of floorboard so that the carpet does not catch on fire..

My exhaust had to run too close to the floor and I started cooking the tar on the inside of the floor.

Double walled cookie sheet fixed the problem tho :D

It's held off right now by the stock heat shield, carpet is long gone and the interior is bed lined. I did it before the Rubicon and my rear passengers didn't suffer any burns or melted sneakers.

Cookie pan though, good idea.

Those are some fancy seats you got there...They really put a sense of high class to the beast.

Damn you 90! You have had me thinking of lowering my rig for some time...
Curious, what is your ground to frame measurement and where along the frame was it measured? So I can compare with mine. Off to go search Mace's thread to see if there is a meas for Bob...

none that I can remember, but I can do it now.

One sec

Mine is about 20" (give or take 1/2") to the bottom of the frame between the front and rear doors.

That is on 35's at street pressure.

Thank you sir, I'm anxious to get home and measure mine!
No, the wagon. :flipoff:

4:88s installed in the rear, front third with 4:88s plus Longfield/TG birfs, axles, marlin knuckle kit waiting to go in front.

Sold rack and snorkel, bought another bender and tube notcher and I'll be building an exo/into cage shortly. I want it strong, as inoffensive as possible and I want it to double as my roof rack/roof sliders.

You should have a dummy hand stick out of there.

Or a dick

We are going to need another fix of battlewagon soon or I'm going to get bored and cut my own truck up ;)

Bought this 60 for a buddy, he hasn't seen it in person yet but was only $2,200 280k miles rattlecan paint but runs great, OME suspension and no rust. Is buying it for a hunting/brush rig, should fit the bill.

Now you have hit cool guy status with the light bar :)

I'm curious to see how you like it. The inexpensive ones sometimes don't do well in wet climates..

What crapped out in the winch?

The solenoid locked up and kept pulling after it hit the fairlead, kinda spooky.

I might hit the LED bar with some silicone on the weak parts, either way the rig should get some covered storage soon and only sees about 500 miles a year anyhow.

No doubt, that's a bad failure. Glad nobody got hurt (assuming)

Good plan. You will be happy with the additional light. All of those bars put out an ignorant amount of light..

Your buddies new 60 looks like a great start!
