its kinda wild how we are still waiting for snow to play in: my thought as im looking through old threads on MUD like this
That was Delmoe Lake. I foolishly brought my fly rod and was stoked for the warmish weather until I saw the lake had about 2' of ice.
I think we went down some service roads off the main pipestone trail and there was a good amount of snow, got stuck at a couple of points, some downed trees I cleared too.
It's KILLING me waiting for more snow.

mostly going through bins and bins of stuff and realizing what i own. found a box of crap from my old FJC. i sold that thing years ago. Consolidating and organizing. Adding Ram mounts everywhere that isn't gonna be covered in MOLLE panels. shotgun wrack. Haven't had a chance to really do this because the LX has been out of commission this time of year. visor delete mod. stoked because i found the perfect cargo net divider. still trying to think of where im gonna mount my new cup holder. maybe another ram mount

whats the name of the actual road? you might check the FS use maps just FYI.
Something you might not be aware of since you just moved here ( i mean that with all doo respect) like 90% of the roads are gonna be closed for seasonal access until like June 1. AKA: locked gates. and you shouldn't drive around them even if you can. i forget what the date is for the first round of gates. because in theory there would probs be feet of snow on that road this time of year and its to keep less knowledgeable people from getting in over their heads. which is very easy to do in montana.
and i wouldnt put much faith in Bill and laura Woods, they could be JoOp people.
