Off the top of my head... 'California Spec' got the oil cooler (16100-61040/41) and then fan clutch (16100-61080/81) in 1976 while the same Fed spec did not (16100-61070/71). When the oil cooler & fan clutch went standard, they all use the 61080/81.
We've sold NPW (made in Japan) for quite a few years for certain diesel applications not serviced by Aisin (or GMB) but with those drying up we went big and ordered a pallet load from NPW. We've got 3-4 applications on CruiserTeq.com and you'll see more as AISIN supply dwindles on other applications. We just got notification a couple other popular AISIN numbers are headed to NLA. NPW and GMB have discontinued some good ones too but between the (3) and out back stock of NOS stuff, we're sitting good on most water pump options. As of later we stock ~30 different water pumps for Land Cruisers. It's a little much and I'll likely be buried with some

And all that being said maybe you have some options for those trucks that aren't listed on the website. You always have stashes of stuff...
Well my water pump from CruiserOutfitters EGW 61081 arrived today & the box does say Made in Japan. The Beck Arnley & this one both look very similar in regards quality.
But right or wrong, I prefer Made in Japan parts vs China.

The 61040/61041 is fortunately still very available at current from AISIN, OEM Toyota, NPW and others. No signs of discontinuing soon but eventually, it will happen.
