I've been seeing ads for someone marking these pumps up and reselling them as an overland accessory with some adapter piece.
Well guess what... these fit without that extra piece they are selling. Pop off the little cap on the jerry and it slides right on.

just grab your own on amazon https://amzn.to/4307msz there are multiple sellers and they are cheap and work great. No more spilling water trying to pour the jerry

These are perfect. I’ve got three of them. I had to rough up the mating surface to keep it from pushing back out but gtg after that. And cheap

Just got one. I was interested to see if I could get it to fit on my several Reliance cans, too. It sort of fits inside the spout, but that’s kind of stupid. And probably leaky. The fitting is your standard sprinkler pipe fitting, though, so good…

Obviously you would want a much smaller nipple here, but who am I to judge?

Thanks for all the info and pictures. I've got a couple water jerry cans and a Reliance 7 gal cube that I use on trips. My water pump is supposed to deliver today and I will get to put it to use in about 2 weeks. Perfect timing.

We love our little USB charged water pump to use with my Specter water jugs. It makes it a lot easier than tilting it with the spigot.

☝️that's what I was saying is unnecessary for these specific pumps
Unfortunately that's not true in my case. I bought the pump you linked earlier and while it fit and worked perfectly the first time I installed it on my water can, it will not stay put any longer. I think the "fins" on the bottom of the pump that get inserted into the can got a little deformed and now when I install it, the pump immediately pushes itself out. I have a friend with a 3D printer attempting to make me an adapter based off of one he has but if that doesn't work then the one @Land Shark just posted is the way I will go.

On my first go around I roughed up the inside of the jerry spout and that seemed to hold the dispenser pretty well. Give that a try.

hm that's a bummer.... I haven't had an issue with mine and it's been prob 3-4 years of use. if you have a friend with a 3d printer that would be a cheap alternative!

Those parts arrived yesterday. Seemed to be decent for the test fitting I did with them. As you see in the 3rd pic the one with the adaptor does sit a bit higher than one without. And FYI the eBAY parts shipped with a flexible tube that seems to be a bit more heavier gauge than the one that comes with these inexpensive water dispensers. I did not test fit the tube yet.

oh geez I would have thought it would still sit flush.

I haven't had a problem with the tube it came with but just had an idea of using a small zip tie to prevent it from falling off.
I have not either TBH. although getting mine seated was a small chore lol

I got one. Charged it up. Pretty impressive. Works as advertised. My brother said they have them all over Mexico. I’m pretty ocd. I don’t expect issues. Looking forward to July trip to put it to work. I’ll review it after that. Just not having to tip the 5 gal can on the rear rack is gonna be sweet!
