female driver. We MUST know the backstory please.![]()
it's got the xp update.@gnob I forget, does your 8274 have the stock motor or have you upgraded?
There are things heavier than your rig... My 40 tips the scale at about 4700 lbs empty. I could easily be over 5000 between me, hiking boots, and a small tool box. Add in a couple passengers and it'd soon pass 5500 lbs.it's got the xp update.
thing pulled like a train and had zero thoughts about stalling.
i maybe could have pulled it solo if i had an anchor. that's my typical mo if im pulling something heavier than my rig.

score!Just picked up one made in July 1983 that looks like it's never been mounted. A literal basket case of the best kind.

Any more details on the modifications necessary? It looks like you notched the front of the Deluxe to move the 8274 forward? And then added reinforcement plates to the mounting bolts? Plus the modified front support bar?I bought a used Deluxe bar and modified it to fit the 8274.....you need welding skills to accomplish this.
The biggest problem is the winch motor wants to hit the grill so you will have to add about 3 inches or so to ARB
The first thing I did was bolt the 8274 in the ARB and using a jack and jack stands to see how much I needed to add length wise to the ARB bumper...had to cut and bend front support bar as well...
