JP if you miss your 62 bad enough you can buy mine from me. i might be putting it up for sale soon anyways. i am still throwing around the idea of sell my 62 and s10 blazer and getting a more family friendly 80 series...

Relist....ya never know with e-bay.....the first 80 I wanted I missed by $200, buyer never showed the guy relisted it and it went for a couple grand more (fellow mudder spotted it, it was a former 80 of Alin Povin)

Yep, my neighbor did the same thing with his Turbo Sprints last week. Sold them for $900 on ebay last month, got his deposit, buyer never showed, relisted after a month, sold for $1500. (I know that's not a whole lot, but it's a 66% increase!)

It may just be the timing. It would be really nice if you could wait a few weeks until after tax time when people have more money burning a hole in their pocket.

Thanks for the support guys; I relisted her last night on a shorter 5 day auction and lowered the reserve. We'll see what happens, but I am not going to let her go for that little........ I am not that desperate yet :o

Carp, good point about tax season; if she doesn't go this time I will hold off a few more weeks.

thanks fellas

And to top it off just found out someone stole my credit card info and ran up a bunch of charges just in a matter of hours this morning.... so Bank canceled my card and now I have to wait a week or more to get my money back. Haven't used my card in a while until I had to use it for setting up the ebay auction. Which leads me to believe that is where some one hacked it...... who knows

:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Someone stole my credit card about a year ago...knew the person...now they are awaiting sentencing for somewhere around 5 counts of financial transaction card theft and financial transaction card fraud (all felonies) - along with two counts of possession and distribution of crack cocaine (I knew nothing of the drugs - I swear!)

My credit card company was real easy to deal with. My acct was credited in under a week IIRC. I only had to sign a statement to the card company.

Best of luck JP!

dang good thing you found UC; sounds like you needed a new group of friends :D

but yeah the bank told me the same thing; sign the statement and I will get my money back. I actually had my debt card info stolen last fall; I think I am going to start carrying only cash in the future:rolleyes:

My card was stolen at a restaurant where I 'knew' the owner. She rang my card through the card machine and just never gave it back.

There was another time that involved over $1k in plus sized lingerie from Nordstrom's in Seattle WA...that was a big hubabalu... :grinpimp:

This happened to me about a year ago. Those damn "convenience checks" from my credit card co. (that I had asked them several times to stop sending) were stolen out of my mailbox.

PO box is where it's at.

Amex is the key. No tie to your bank account, they credit immediately if you have an unauthorized charge... just pay off every month.

My wife "bought" a weekend at Disney, a battery from some online store, and a couple generators from Home Depot about 6 months ago. The HD people called Amex and they caught the f'ers.

Easy as one phone call from me and a signed document and we were all clear. Had new cards the next day at 10 am.
