Thanks for the posts @pHilpineS . Nice collection of tools!

Regarding the yellow handle screwdriver, there are two variations. The earlier variant has the katakana "TEQ" Toyota logo like in your first picture. The other is essentially the same as the first, but without the katakana logo. I don't know exactly what year the earlier driver became available, but I estimate 1968. That earlier variant existed until the early 70s by my best guess, when Toyota removed the katakana logo. The variant without the logo was found in tool kits of several different Toyota models (including 40 series Land Cruisers in 1972 though 1983). A screwdriver with a black handle replaced the yellow-handle screwdriver at some point.

The 250mm angle wrench absent of "Made in Japan" was still made in Japan. Just like the screwdrivers, there were different iterations of the wrenches throughout the years, with different markings. The 250mm wrench in your photo has a small oval pad on the front, and that variation was found in early Toyota Land Cruisers. The 200mm wrench was not included in any 20 or 40 series Land Cruiser tool kits.
Thanks for the information.

Found this cool letter the other day, always find it interesting when this kind of stuff survives and doesn't get put in the shredder!

And this pamphlet too which was also in that "confidential" corporate pamphlet I found a few months back

As I understand it, Toyota presented Artthur Linkletter, Goodwin Knight, and Dwight D. Eisenhower each with one of these knives in 1957 when they opened the first dealership in California. The one seen here was presented to Eisenhower.

Here's another cool 1/64 scale airbrushed Land Cruiser diorama model that just arrived along with a lot of tools from Japan. Believe the 40 was painted and the landscaping was made by the same artist as the one in post #229 of this thread. This person does pretty darn good work.

This odd touch up paint can was an eBay item. I think it is earlier than the red and white checkered variety, but all research has come up empty so I don't know for certain.

The paint color is indicated on the lid just like the other cans, but there is no indication of color code on the reverse (3rd and 4th pics). Perhaps the indentation on the front of the can (last pic) once had the code printed. Don't know what other purpose it would serve.

Thought I'd share this treasure of ingenuity. Came from a shop in Japan. It's an acrylic handle Toyota Motor 8mm nut driver welded to aToyota Motor 9.5mm ratchet handle, resulting in this ratchiver, which, ironically sounds similar to MacGyver.

I can assure you it will come in handy someday. Maybe not as a tool though. Grab it by the green handle, flip it upside down, and it doubles as a heckuva noisemaker.
