If you can't find one I adapted a chev one onto mine (1 wire type). It was easy to do and so far it works good (Just had to find a good pulley). I got a powermaster one from lordco thats dyno'd at 160A

You used an electric vacuum pump with that tho right?

I'll ask Abel if I see him again this week, he might have one too, christ knows he has every other cruiser part imaginable...

I need to borrow his volkswagon molestation tool for my roofrack.

Ah yes... I forgot about the damn pump... its been running so nicely since I got my new one.

The original vac pump I got was a POS that crapped out on the first drive ... given the first drive was to Ottawa from vic it was really annoying. (The pump didn't crap out... it broke off its mounted and ended up hanging from a tie strap bouncing around). The new pump I re-did the mount so its now horizontal as apparently it can't be mounted vertical/on an angle even though the instructions don't say that. Much better and almost no vibration now...

Eventually I'll prob set up the york compressor way that I've heard is possible...

Rigpig (Dan) has one. Dont know if its for sale though. If memory serves its an 83 with aprox. 350K.

He doesn't actually get rid of things tho does he?

Now that he has that palatial estate with all that room , he's amassing parts and fluids for the zombie apocalypse, so he'll only need to come down off the mountain on the occasional raid for food, malt liquor and women...

I guess if we did gather all the parts from the troll-hole and the goat-barn we could probably piece together a couple 42's!:hillbilly:

Looking for a 12v 3B starter motor. Or any other 12v diesel starter that fits on my 1HD-T nose cone. Hopefully 2.5 kW or more.

Look for a guy parting out a 2LT that blew up... It's what guys usually use. They are cheap re-man from Toyota

I think rocky mountain imports are parting a couple 2lte's right now. Not sure if that starter will work or not; and he usually wants good $$. But worth a try.

Brains electric usually has a wide range of starters and alternators...

I think I need a newer vacuum booster. For an Fj40... Would like a double diaphragm booster if someone's got one.

Anyone got one to spare or a recommendation of what to use?

Good to know... Know to find one.:D

Mine is also on its way out... I was gonna try one out of a 60 and see if it would work... The only thing i am missin is the check valve .. 40 series are right in the booster 60 are further down the line.. Any thoughts

From what I've seen, a 60 one should work.

Not sure about the check valve... Just use a 60 one...:D

Looks like I'll need an inline vacuum check valve for the 80 series booster I just picked up.

Also, likely a spacer to go between the booster and the firewall. I gather they were used in 80s mini trucks and possibly even T100 pickups... Who knows what else.
