Based on the rust on the flywheel I would suspect the upgrade is past tense.

The 3B you gave me, Steve, got merged with another 3B and that's what is in my 40. Runs like a top, and has done for a couple of years, so I decided to clean up the garage a little. If nobody wants the old B it goes for recycling. I also have the other 3B short block available to a good home (but no pics).

The rust on the flywheel is just surface stuff, a quick polish would take it off.
