Yea mine was a little loose. I tightened the adjusting nuts on both sides 2 full turns. Now I hear the clunk in stereo.

Yes the 4 post does eat real estate in the pole barn…this one accommodates our Suburban so it’s wide and long and extra tall. 9000lb capacity, rolling jack stand, and 5 sliding drip plates full length underneath for parking vehicles above one another without worrying if anything is leaking or spillage while working. Use 1 or all 5

These do not get floor mounted. They can be if you wish. Each 4 post leg has a weight driven, Cantilevered lever arm that when installed, the weight of the runways at the last 6-8 inches to the ground, will raise the posts so you can roll the entire lift left/right/forward or backward on the solid nylon wheels. You can also use their 12x12x1/2” thick rubber pads under each post to eliminate any abrasion to floor surfaces.

Who's lift is that? It looks like Halo, but better.

Advantage Lifts. Makers of Backyard Buddy DX9000-XLT

I had assembled this solo using my engine hoist… but it was 3 yrs ago, I was younger..😂

I settled on Advantage when I was getting serious a couple of years ago based on folks like @knuckle47 experience, other reviews, assembly videos, cost, shipping, etc. Then I learned a friend of a friend has an Advantage 4-post that's hardly ever been used so I've been holding off hoping to talk him out of his.

My use would primarily be for vechicle storage.

That under lift storage is terrific. I have those sliding plastic trays from end to end so if anything should drip, it’s not a catastrophe. I would love that double wide …my garage door on one side is 18’ wide. I bought mine based on my friends’ experiences with his. He’s got it over 15 years and loves it every bit as much as the day he got it

Installing a two post lift with asymetric arms, figuring where to install it to lift a troopy. I imagine most vintage (4 leaf springs) frame looks the same, the lift point is just beside spring hanger? The front is a raising rail which is not great for a flat pad lift arm, do you have a special adapter?

Any one have a side picture of a 75 LC raised to have an idea of the post location in relation to the truck. My garage have about 23 feet free space so the lift must be at the right place.
Thanks

Can't help you with a 75 but I have pics of a BJ73 on a symmetrical lift. I think I have pics of a 40 on the lift also if you want them.

@lacalvette I can’t find a side photo of my FZJ75 pickup on the lift but here is one that sort of shows the flip up arms on the frame right at the spring perch, front and rear.

Were these flip up supports standard with your lift or were they accessory (upgrade) options that you selected?
Thanks

Standard but perhaps just standard for my dealer. The lift is a Rotary SPOA10 asymmetric with trio arms. The flip ups have a low and a high side. It also came with higher truck adapters that slip over the high side flip up adapters. Unfortunately all of these are metal on metal so I recently bought some round rubber adapters that slip over either side folded down.

I have a 7k Rotary built in the 1970s that has those same flip up pads. I like them.
