I bought my 80 about a month ago and have been general maintenance on it. It is almost ready. I have to turn the title in and get plates. I was thinking of getting a vanity plate. Does anyone on here have a vanity plate? If so what does it say? Any good and creative ideas for a vanity plate for a 80?
 
i have a friends of the smokies plate, 4 character here in NC, but no vanity plates

i guess i'm not very vain

Vanity plates are so lame. If anything I like what the previous poster did. In Florida we have a "Protect Our Reefs" plate which gives money to the Mote Marine Laboratory and is a pretty cool looking plate. But what are you going to write on a plate? Anything related to the 80 no one would really understand anyways. But hey knock yourself out!

Who cares if they understand it or not.
 
Mine is really creative..... BILT4ME.
 
I had RDGRUNR on a previous vehicle, an '85 Toy P/U. I like BILT4ME but I'd have to go with BLTBYME.

I've also done the "contribution" type plates, in CO we have 10th Mountain Division commemorative plates that I have had on 3 vehicles.
