Hi everyone,
I'm looking to get a realistic temperature check on the current value of my 1984 FJ60 to see if it's worth selling, as well as some advice on what priority work I should tackle next. I’d love to get your expert eyes on what I have here. I've been wanting to sell the old girl for around 10 years now but she's sentimental to the wife and her family so I've just been trying to keep the cruiser running until we figure out what's next. I don't have the time or the money to care for her the way she needs, but I'll do my best in the interim.
Also, for the 60-series gurus here, what should my immediate focus be for preventative maintenance or preservation given the symptoms? I can only offer her some weekend time here and there, so I'm trying to judge my workload and prioritize necessities.
Thanks in advance for any insights!

- Engine: Stock 4.2L 2F inline-six
- Transmission: 4-speed manual
- Mileage: 198,421
- Status: Fully drivable but temperamental
- It starts up and runs well.
- It has some light oil weeping/drips, presumably from aging rubber gaskets, but no severe active leaks.
- The main quirk: The transmission can sometimes get clammed up if the vehicle has been parked long-term.
- Original cloth seats are still intact (I need to do a deep evaluation of the exact material condition, but no massive missing chunks).
- The dashboard does have the typical cracking you'd expect from an '84.
- Some on the rear wheel arches and rear bumper.
- Light spotting on the front end.
- Creeping into the creases, specifically the door jambs and along the roof gutters.
