Yeah, but try to find one new!

Took a closer look at the pictures of that truck today. Noticed the frame is quite pock-marked. Must have had a fair deal of rust before being sand-blasted and epoxied. More rust than one would think for the claimed miles. And more rust damage than I'd want if I were paying that price.... I'd want a perfect frame for that sort of cash.

Even Mud members aren’t immune to ‘gold’ fever

$46,000 USD 😣

Sofa turned up on your porn search eh?

Guessing it's an old professorial type who has no clue why that ad is funny
“Black Sofa + bed in good condition”

This sorta looks like someone took one of those JDM landcruiser firetrucks and removed the fire gear. Put a box on, painted it with middle east graphics, and doubled the price. Toyota Landcruiser pickup 5000 kms - cars & trucks - by owner

That was like new when he entered quarantine!

By Mint Condition, does that mean he's growing mint... I think it'd have to be a bit stronger to be worth $5500.

here’s another

Just doing a random browse, and came across this old ad for a familiar bj70.

I sold this truck 10 years ago or so when it had about 400k on the clock so it's a neat trick that it has 230k on it in this ad.

Gravel guard for the rust and little pick tool for the milage eh? Nothing to see here!

I particularly liked the little ruler next to a rust spot on the body. I replaced a 3' section of the frame on that...those slider mounts are strategic.

Told the guy about all that when I sold it, at what used to be a fair price.

It's been handed around a few times in the states, probably one of those shysters that swapped out the cluster.

I’m Especially interested since it has 500,000 km on it.

Take away a zero on the price, 200,000 km, and the smoky startup... and it’d be worth checking out the “rusty body” and “solid frame”.

I wish I had a time machine and I’d go back for the mint 60 frame I pulled my rear springs off back in ‘92. I’d swap it under my 40 rather than the rust free 40 frame I swapped in the next year. Back then I’d be u to a body stretch. These days I’ve been searching for time to fit in a P/S swap fo years... doesn’t help that my hands not working well, making P/S a necessity, slows down progress on all fronts.Hopefully this year... I think I’ve now got all the big parts. I’m planning to figure out hoses, a belt, and the steering rod once it’s all mounted in place.
