This one is just kinda funny.

"Blew a hydraulic line and sunk in a hole for two years. I can help get it out with a larger machine"

Wouldn't it maybe be a good idea to get it out of the hole before posting???

Haha, I saw that one too and thought same thing.

So I'm just surfing along. Thought 'Hey, this is cool. Neat upgrade for shifting to synthetic line!'
Then I saw the price! This is only available for proper Overlanders with a capital 'O'

Rock finding shackles, rust, no rear sill… and only $35,000.

Puts the value of mine around $25-30k… I’d even consider selling it for that price. Until I look at the price of a new 4x4 and realize it’s not nearly enough.

Lots of cruiser sitting on facebook at stupid prices and not selling. I think we can only gauge the value of our rigs against actual sale prices; not what people are asking.

I agree… their value has gone up a lot, and I don’t blame anyone for trying to get a high price for one, but it’s only worth what someone is willing to pay.

Compared to what some companies are asking it’s not even that much. Thinking of one company in Columbia that is selling G40s for $275k USD.

All it's missing it the, "Will sell for $100,000 once restored." :D

Pre rusted “new” fenders.

I’m feeling old… I’m remember when $1500 was the asking price for an Aqualu tub. For $1500 I’d want them installed and painted to match. :D

15 secs. Just saved $1000. CCOT

BTW, $1500 wouldn't even get them painted now.

Depends on where you were to take it…

It has been a bit but $3500 plus the parts I supplied got me from:

To this:

Including welding, replacement of damaged parts, aligning panels, painting the “spoiler”, and painting the nose of the car (including paint and supplies.

In comparison, welding in 2 1/4 panels and hitting them with paint doesn’t seem like a lot of work. Probably a lot less than straightening, swapping parts, welding, assembly, paint prep, paint, and clear coat.

ICBC said it would cost 13k+ to repair… was a lot cheaper.
