Nice work as always Roger;)

Some weatherstripping for the FJ45 folks: The discontinued rear window weatherstrip and corner window glass weatherstrips for the 45 pick-up (which is not the same size as FJ40). These products are sort of low hanging fruit, because the rubber profiles are the same as other existing FJ40 products. Only difference is size. We can offer good prices too due to economies of scale :bounce:.

I'll be focusing on more discontinued pieces this summer, starting with other low hanging fruits like the FJ40 rear hatch window glass weatherstrip that is currently unavailable.

Looking forward to the rear hatch glass w/s.....another corner glass w/s that appears to be different size is the corner glass for 40's between 1965 and '71, and to keep them all looking the same the side window w/s between 1965 and 3/69......"Would like to have list"

I got the roof gasket along with several other pieces from you and they are very impressive.

THANKS AGAIN!!

Paul

Box of treasures just arrived from Indiana. All discontinued weatherstripping on loan as samples.

very cool, the 2nd ones use a H4 P45T bulb, I may have scooped up the last amber p45t's daniel stern had some years ago

1st ones, normal H4 or P45t?

It's interesting that both PN's have "sealed beam" in the description, and they both are clearly not sealed beam.
Doesn't seem like an engrish error.

Also, be aware that those lamps are not marked LHD, so may be toyota default RHD.

The correct LHD round Koito headlamp is 00234-06014.

^^^ Thanks for the above, Jim ^^^

Checking prices, I typed in the OEM part number for the Sealed Beam Headlight 90981-01016 (12V 50/40W - 3/69 to 7/80), and it crossed to 00234-06014 for about $4 apiece. I thought that may have been an error, but obviously it wasn't.

I have a vague recollection of noticing the sealed/semi-sealed Toyota confusion before.

I can't search on the second part number with the "H" in it (I wonder why Toyota use those weird numbers occasionally?) but here's the result of a search on the first one:

Note that all the vehicles are classed as LHD except for lines 10,19 and 21 which I assume are erroneous listings.

Edit: Actually, I don't know of any European Country that drives on the left ... so I think the entries are correct and it's just that the data-input-person typed RHD by mistake instead of LHD for those 3 lines

The lens are cut/fluted to be left or right hand. On say a lhd, the light will shine more to the shoulder then at the oncoming tragic in other lane. If you use a RHD lens...light will be aimed at other lane.

I have a set of RHD Kioto h4, they were from France and had amber bulbs which France required up till the mid 80's (just a guess)

Semi sealed beam is what Toyota calls an H4 (2 types)

If I were to guess, most 70 series 7" h4 use the normal h4 base, euro spec may have used the p45t base in 40/60 and maybe early 70's

The true sealed beans kioto's are pretty cheap, $5 but they are like the light that came stock on any US round light....pretty crappy beam pattern and can't change bulbs, they do however last forever.....I see lots if old cruisers with the originals still working
