The Blue Whale is feeling lonely and neglected in the rain.

gabe, there should be a nut on the bottom that holds everything together

Will double check. I actually was able to get it to fire.

Sitting at the second doctor of the day getting metal shaving out from under my cornea. I was wearing glasses yesterday, but didn't have side protection on them. Lesson learned.

Holy crap! Under your cornea? What the heck, dude? Were you rubbing your eyes with metal shards on your fingers?

Was drilling and tapping cast iron laying on my back and some must have fallen in and worked its way under it.

You still at the doctors office? Everything get worked out?
Everything is out now. They used a pick and got the rest of the metal shavings out, then used a drill, yes a drill, to get rust out. Apparently it had rusted all over inside my eye. There is a clear contact bandage over it now. Vision is real blurry in my left eye but the doc said it'd go back to normal.

I'll tell you this, I've had some pretty severe injuries, surgeries, hardware installed, this was by far the most painful to date.

I'm actually going to wear a face shield in addition to my glasses now when I'm on my back under trucks.

I just ordered a full wrap around face shield and new wrap arounds for my prescription glasses. I'm working on something on the toys or in the house everyday, so I'm not taking anymore chances.

Quite a few years back, I had glass lenses and a crobar slipped and shattered my glasses in my left eye.
I had surgery and stiches in my eye. worst surgery ever.
I watched him take the stiches out...talk about scary !!
This happened in May, and I didn't get released back to work until August.
Don't take any chances with your eyes.

Remind me, I'll show you where the stiches were. There's a little dark spot on the iris.

I think I have some material for the next Saw movie. Good lord. I never really thought how awful it would be to have eye surgery! There's no escaping actually watching someone cut on your eye - you have to watch the whole thing and you can't move your eyes!

I was out for the surgery, don't remember any of it. but not being able to go outside for the whole summer because the light was too much sucked. I stayed in the bedroom with the curtains shut the whole time.
Hope everythings good with you, Teddy
