Anyone looking for some truck parts? I am contemplating buying this for the rear bed/ frame to build a off road trailer. Only wants $400 for all. No title.

I would want rear axle, bed and frame portion.

Well I looked at the directions on the Scott's website and we are on the cusp of it almost being too late to plant seed. But I think if you keep it watered and have plenty of straw to help keep it moist you should be alright. You could always call Scott's customer service and see what they recommend. Obviously seed is cheaper but sod is also instant yard and it's easier to keep it wet. But I'm thinking most of the money went to the septic. But I think I'd go ahead and seed and not expect full germination and realize that you may have to overseed in the fall. But if you don't do anything you're gonna end up with a mud hole and then dust bowl by the end of the summer.

Oh and I have looked both at lowes and tri star imports and there grass seed is about the same price...so get a brand that has the drought shield, or what ever they call it, to help hold in the moisture.

You are much better off going to a local feed/farm store for seed. They can help you select from various types of seed best suited to your needs. Cheaper than Lowes etc. All that drought shield and other stuff adds a lot of weight that is not grass seed. When we seed we are generally seeding 1.5-5 acres at a time so we pay attention to the cost of seed and results.

my wife wanted fescue but after reading about it a little I'm not so sure it will take. I just want something green year long that my doberman won't rip to shreds.

I don't think you would have a hard time getting it to take Kevin, fescue grows really well up here. Also the drought shield will help with planting this time of year. Granted we haven't had terribly hot weather but it is starting into the 90's this week. Scott's has a No-quibble guarantee on there product so if you're not completely satisfied you send the original proof of purchase and they'll send ya a check.

Another grass type is centipede, it may or may not brown up during the winter months, found this link with some info...

My yard is broken up into 4 sections, the three you can see are all centipede (the backyard is mostly weeds as that's where the dogs play and go to the bathroom). The centipede is super easy. I never water it, if it turns brown it will green up as soon as it rains. Gets thick enough to choke out weeds, spreads to cover up bare spots (I just throw sand down), and goes dormant in the winter. Pretty much all I do is cut it and put down Scotts Weed and Feed twice a year.

Honestly, I would prefer to have a desert style landscape with stone and succulents, with jut a grass patch for the dogs to run. I love to grow my vegetable garden, but don't really enjoy spending time cutting grass when I could do something else. The wife has nixed that idea though.

Baja 500
Not a huge Robby Gordon fan, but I don't see this as his fault at all.

Freeze frame shows this spectator was on the driver side of road, saw #77 coming and crossed right in front of the speeding truck.

Yep, definitely not on him. From the look of the guys to the left of the camera guy, almost get the feeling it was planned.

What a dumba$$!

Yep can't blame RG on that one.

Rook the family for a spin in the cruiser into pisgah. Waiting for this storm to blow over. Peeps everywhere.

Found this poor guy asleep. At first I thought he was on his phone. Had a Co worker go wake him up.
