Diamond axle, with True Hi-9 center section, ARB and 4.88's. Hybrid 80/105/100 outers to retain 5 lug setup with 100 brakes and if all works out right, the ABS as well.

The plan was that we have everything in place to hook it up. Preliminary investigation shows that it should still work, but we will see when we get to drive the truck and test it.

Lots of progress, not much to photograph. Motor is back in, power steering is all hooked up with new cooler and pump. Axle housing caster has been set. All the frame side fabrication has been completed. We will hang the axle back this week and then finish the swap up next week.

I can't wait to see it done. I was looking at mine the other day and thought about doing a solid axle conversion instead of building my FJ68. I've got 120-150 more hours on the project. But I think it is still less work than do a solid axle on the 100.

White Rhino Lives

Just to let you know, I also have decided on putting on the Slee Rear Bumper, instead of the ARB Rear Bumper that is on currently. Also as for the Name, I think I am going with the "White Rhino" . Reason being that the Northern White Rhino is extremely rare if not already extinct. As of 2006, there where only 4 in the wild. I suspect that mine is very rare indeed, only 2 that I know of. The Plan is to take possession March 8.

White Rhino Lives

I am not hijacking this thread, but I have made one more major change, I have decided to get Slee's front bumper. The new one just looks so much better. Plus it fits perfectly, and not requiring any modifications unlike the ARB Front bumper would have required. I am now getting rid both front and rear ARB bumper, I am selling them for 1/2 price. Christo has agreed to ship them if someone wants them, they will have to pay for shipping. If not I will be taking them back to Houston, and selling them locally since I will not be shipping them. Please PM me if you are interested. I will also post them in the classified on MUD.

I can't wait to pick this up. 15 days and counting.
