@onemanarmy

This one is hers…named Burt. She had a choice for her 1st vehicle; buy it or build it. She chose build it, with “it” being an ‘85 FJ60. I offered her all kinds of other choices, but she’s dead set on a 60. She likes being up and having all the visibility. Anyway, we found a definite project truck. I set a “shop rate” that she earns while turning wrenches. Whatever she earns is subtracted from the price of the project. She’s 13 now, so that gives 2-3 years to work on it. This was her first day.

Not actual wrenching, but wrenching will be done in there.

Concrete for 26X 36 addition to shop. This is the first phase. Once up and running the second building, 20 X 40 will go up against the hedge row. The second building will be storage/paint booth. Hopefully both will be in operation by end of 2023.

That took long enough

Imagine how it felt on my end :) Concrete was supposed to take 3 days, start till pour, instead it took 10 and now I'll wait until 10/30 to drive over it. Meanwhile I'm grading for stone all around the slab.

So the shipping label says high point and I’ve been in Madison for 6 years now so ….. yeah. Anywho. Getting around to some unfinished projects ;)

Radiator swap in the 45.

Had obtained a cradle from @Comet at Logan’s run but the longer I dug the more parts I found and unearthed a previously cleaned and painted rad cradle, shroud, and support stays from the basement.

Lil customs hosiery action and should be back in business.
