I am putting tents up for folks to reserve spots, we can park our tow rig in a electric slot, and I will set up tents at another one. In fact, if you don't mind us stealing some power from you for our heating blankets, you can park in our slot and we will tent out back
I have a portable projector. As long as I get signal/data I can use the slingbox and watch it with that. Otherwise we can user someone else's hotspot and use the projector over WiFi.
I will bring onions, cheese, and jalapeños for Friday night.
I am in for Friday - Saturday afternoon. Picked up an extra shift on Sunday. It will just be me so I will have an extra seat if needed. I can leave first thing in the morning on Friday. I will bring 2 extra tents for reserving spots.
Hey kids, I'm 1Mac's friend mentioned earlier on in the conversation with the Rangie. Don't throw rocks quite yet as we are joining y'all in my 14yr olds P38 build-up (he's been itching to get it dirty). I'm a long time lurker and TLCA member and have built up several Toyos over the years including an FJ and a few 100s but this is my first time hooking up with the club. 1Mac can't make it until Sat morning but my son and I have nothing to do Fri as he's out of school and wondered if you'd mind if we joined in Friday and camp with the group?
Read thru all the posts and wasn't sure if there is a caravan starting for those leaving Fri morning. We haven't been to Tuttle so figured it might be easier to follow some of you out (we are in a Rover so we're conditioned to never travel alone ). Plus, we want to add as much set-up labor/help to prevent the ensuing crucifixion. Please tell me what I can bring to help with the chow or other supplies needed.
Some of us are leaving about 9 on Fri. Not sure of details so will have those posted later. Just pick something that isn't already listed to bring for one of the meals. lub will provide plates, bowls, plasticware and napkins as usual. We welcome you to the event.
absolutely, have her stop by. Give her my cell number, so she can find us though. I am not sure that we are planning on going back to camp for lunch, so she will need to be out there in the AM to see us at camp, or shoot me a text.
We usually do go back to camp for lunch as it is just a short drive. I will definitely need to go back as I will have Shamus with me and will need to take him out for a potty break. Can't be out on his own as is getting treated for heart worms.
Peggy,
Kelly, Rob, and I are planning on just staying out and eating on the trails, so we can split up and those who want to go back can. We have radios, we can link back up.
Safe to assume the "East I-70 Travel Plaza" is the first one on the toll road/turnpike? Mitch and I will be there at 9:30 and have no problem following a 1/4 mile or so behind in our "off-brand" rig. Would hate to be an embarrassment to the crew .
If anyone is in S. OP and wants us to take any tents/supplies along we will have plenty of room.
