For the past year or so, the front right turn signal has not worked. When I would put that signal on, it would blink twice as fast. The back one did. I replaced the bulb, and nothing happened. This weekend, I went to use the signal and it made sort of a funny noise and now neither one works at all.

Do you guys recommend just ordering a new kit with the headlights and turn signal or something else? I hope this isn't something I have to chase down forever. Is it a fuse? I don't know about this stuff. Thank you.

This article may help you. If you hadn’t read already. At least it’ll give you the schematics you might need.

So, I ordered new side markers and installed them today. One of the old ones (passenger side) was completely corroded and not even connected any more. Both of them, the black plastic housing just crumbled when I touched them. Installed the new ones in about 10 minutes (kinda hard with big hands to get in there and plug them up without removing the battery or any parts but was able to eventually).

Was a good $60 investment and kind of fun to do. This fixed the strange turn signal noises. Why, I don't know, but it did.

The "strange signal light noises" were probably caused by resistance in the circuit creating a voltage drop that prevented the signal light relay from fully opening/closing. When that happens, relays tend to make a buzzing sound. When you replaced your old lamp assemblies with new, non-corroded ones, it removed the resistance and allowed the system to work as designed.
