Thanks for bringing that up.. The diamond plating floats on the back bed and is not attached directly. It creates a lockable storage area. The upper area allows for wood storage for when you are out in the middle of nowhere, such as in the high desert.

Nice rig, hope it sells for ya!

Maybe not, the Stock Market is back up!

Isn't this the rig that Scott from Eco45 in OR originally built? It sounds very similar.

Yep- Scotts build plus another $40k in mods that likely added an additional 1000lbs. Hence the reason for sale.

imho. complaints from 40 owners are thpically that the lack of torque means you are revving into turbo range to get this to crawl even with gears in 4500lb - 40s. im guessing this one is 6000lbs and a notch slower than the 5500lb mercedes that this engine came in.

That little 3.3bt never came in an automobile. They were built for generators and are about 80hp. I'd rather have a VW tdi, more power, more torque, less noise.

Yes this was my old rig. Built it at the end of 2009 and sold it several years ago. The new owner/owners have played with it quite a bit. The Cummins B3.3 is a great engine and that truck was able to keep up with a 1HZ with turbo and a 1HDT 80 Series for an event.

It's in chat now :dead horse:
