I've been scanning posts and can't find anything on scheduled maint for the kazuma trd sc... Does anyone have any insite?

It has a ~80-100k service @ stock boost, sooner if a overboost pulley installed. Call above mentioned company - I'd have to find my TRD brochure to say more.

Awesome. Do you know where I can find the instructions?

The TRD and WRX cooler is what I have now. My 80 is the most reliable vehicle I have too, Turbocharging and engine management are everywhere else these days, it would be great to see something quality break i
CX Racing has been around for several years. They make good $$ cuz they sell kits that are like 1/4 of the price of a real, well designed, complete turbo kit. It's just like a cheap Chinese Ebay kit. Thin walled piping, weak clamps, and poorly fitting couplers. There are a few guys on the MR2OC Forum running their IC's (the only good thing in their kits), but even those don't come with a fan or shroud.

So if you just want ANYTHING to make you more power, without regard for how poorly constructed and poorly fitting it'll be, knowing you'll have to likely go back and redo it later, sure, they're an option ;) Otherwise, just remember that you get what you pay for.

Unless I score a BNIB TRD Supercharger someone's been holding onto, I'm gonna prob. take the plunge and get the Sprintex unit, but use my own air-to-air IC via a hood scoop (like a WRX). Stock fuel system though. The truck is the most reliable thing I own, even though it's one of the oldest things I own lol. Trying to keep it like that :)
nto the 80 ranks

Dan confirmed the 100k common service interval, so to me that seems like the best info source.
He said "send it off to Magnusson" at that point, so the 20k silicone oil changeout seems like over-maintenance.
At least the 100k is what I'll leave written in back of my S/C booklet.

Magnusson doesn't touch Gen3s any longer. Been down this painful road. FWIW, when I sent my unit to Magnusson they told me to replace the oil every 20k miles.

Did they happen to tell you what to use and how much?

I believe the unit has to come off in order to put oil in it. Mine has over 100k on it and it has never been touched. I guess I need to start worrying.

PSE superchargers in Oklahoma will work on early M90s. They were recommended to me by my contact at TMS powertrain.

I need to find my email from them. It was in my old work emails which may be gone forever. But I recall it was silicone oil, don't recall the weight or qty and yes it needs to be removed but it's not that big a deal.

Those are the guys I referenced in a previous thread. So far nothing but good things I've been reading but haven't needed them yet. If my rotors get out of spec I will ship it to them. $695 for the complete service.

I was quoted $750.00 earlier today.
