Transmission service now at 205k miles (2 Viewers)

I’m sorry if I couldn’t find the thread with this information but I did try…I’ve had my gx460 for about a year. 175k when I got and serviced transmission then. Getting codes once and have been told I need to do it again. It surges under load. Oddly I cleaned the MAF and put a new OEM air filter in and it ran unbelievably until I went out of town for a week..when I came back..codes upon start up. I ordered aisin ws and am looking at filters. Could I get a recommendation pls. Thanks!

Are those solenoids anything that are affordable and easy to R&R?

The 2 mechanics I talked to, both said problems/ codes were causing surging. Recommended staying with trans service, then if not resolved, go to solenoids. So wa to know what trans filter I should buy if not oem.

It looks like the A760F uses a plasitc filter, whereas the older A750F uses metal. In that case I'd personally go OEM/Aisin or reputable aftermarket.
