Coil, shock towers and radius arm brackets welded in. Axle epoxied , brackets welded and wells are coated.

Should get the axle build and front suspension installed tomorrow. Then this one is headed to the customs shop to pull the old 3FE and get it ready for a LS3 swap.

Maaaan this is almost enough to make me want to keep my 60 axles. ALMOST

I might have to stop and get a bottle of Astro glide and enjoy those pictures in the most proper way!
I think Toyota calls for a 75-90w, but if you feel comfortable running something as thin as astroglide… well, as they say… you do you.

At least Mel hasn't called me and asked me to cut you off..... YES!!!!!!!! I've had this conversation with 2 cruiser wives.. LMFAO!!!!

LOL Do you have a local divorce lawyer on speed dial as a complementary service??

62 axle/coil conversion is done and will be moved to the Customs shop Monday to start on the LS3 swap.

I'll be moving @Major Nelson rig in next to start on the front and rear 80 axle coil conversion.

So excited this is getting locked 80 axles and coil conversion....people have no idea. I'm officially giving my 60 to my wife and taking this! HAH!
You need to go test it in Moab. I'd be happy to validate your findings. Just sayin'. I'll let you drive mine. Might get it dirty. 🙂👍

60/62 === uses 60/62 axles
80=== uses 80 axles (5" wider stance)
Ya...i get that lol

Personally the wider stance rides better and holds the weight much nicer. The main reason I made the 60/62 kit was for the guys that have built axles already ( lockers, gear changes and CrMo axles) But even then... they are still switching to the 80 version.

Isn't the 80 front the same width as the 60 front? I had been under the impression that while the FZJ80 rear was wider and overall a superior axle to the 60 rear, the late 60/62 front was a superior axle to the 80 front and also the same width. Are there other details I likely hadn't considered?

You need to read some more on axle WMS'

I only run 95-97--- 80 full floats on my rear conversions.
