Also had a little time to work on the front bumper. Ends welded on and did a little blending to smooth it out some.

Awesome!!! I bet you loved that trip :D

How'd she perform?

She did awesome. Having a little power steering issues. Did you have any problems of the trans coming out of first going down hill Johnny? Got a video that I need to up load. Can't wait to go again.

Here is the first video of her on the trail

Nope, never had an issue with that, and I wheeled a bunch with that transmission.

Video looks great!!! Congrats man!!

Nice Video, Kinds sucks when you loose momentum in the goop.

Okay, I'll have to look into it.

Was headed towards a tree kinda scared me. Already side swiped a tree earlier. That's what I built it for though

About your power steering: are you using ATF or power steering fluid?

Trans popping out on down hill: Did you replace your trans mount during the resurrection? I don't remember which trans your running, NV4500?

Do you know how to have a friend help you check the trans mount?

My a440 auto does this because the motor is on big squishy diesel mounts and it moves around a lot more than it used to. It tugs on the linkage when engine braking in low range.

1. I am running valvoline powersteering fluid
2. I am running H55 that I got from GLTHFJ60, and using an old trans mount that was in good shape.
3. Not sure on checking the trans mount with the help of a friend
4. Using the engine mounts from the donor truck, they were in good shape also. Not a lot of engine movement.

I also run the stock trans mount with the stock Isuzu 4BD2/NPR engine mounts with no issues.

I read through the manual for PS issues, and it mentioned a check valve on the pump? Maybe worth checking.

Doug, can you post up a picture of where this check valve is? I don't have a complete manual, just the section on the engine tear down.

My trans pops out of gear while in 1st when it's cold. After it heats up it does it much less.
It also pops out in five occasionally at highway speeds when I take my foot off the gas.

Mine does good cold or warm. 5th gear is good on the interstate. So far the only time it has come out of gear is on the trail going down hill
