Toyotapartsdeal.com strikes again

Why is that? Genuinely curious.
Thanks
Pirate Ship is cheap because it acts as a high-volume, third-party "aggregator" that passes deeply discounted USPS Commercial Pricing and pre-negotiated UPS rates directly to users for free. They make money through partnerships with carriers rather than charging users subscription fees or adding markups.

Thanks for the breakdown of the why and how...

Here’s the conclusion: PayPal responded that I would get a full refund on the item contingent on the return of the item at my expense. I was on a business trip at the time and attempted to respond. Unfortunately, the only response I could provide was a tracking number which I didn’t provide. While still on my trip I received a denial notice so I get to eat this one.

Take one for the team I suppose, hope somebody learns the easy way from my hard way.

After a number of successful purchases from TPD, I bought new headlight housings for my 200 series last year. They arrived in the Toyota boxes, with no additional packaging, and one box was very beat up. When I opened it, a few of the tabs on the housing were broken.

I received very dismissive customer service after reaching out to them. Ultimately, I worked with my credit card and got my money back. I won't deal with them again.

Why is anyone still ordering from them? They are the worst online vendor for new Toyota parts. And there is ZERO warranty on any Toyota parts purchased from them because they are not a dealer. Plus they sell counterfeit parts. Order a set of CVs for a 100 series and see what comes. It isn't OEM.

Hopefully, this thread educates people on what they may be in for.

I use TPD to help find parts for my truck and then I order from my local dealer. Have never had any issues doing it that way and have no idea why you'd go to a middleman over your neighborhood dealer. Plus my dealer doesn't charge me shipping since I just pick it up.

Same.
I use partsouq and TPD to double check part numbers because Toyota dealer websites are crap when it comes to locating parts.
