So who owns these two rigs? The green one looks like one a guy in Vic had 20 yrs ago. I didn't trust his welding
on things that were structural. Not sure it's the same truck, too long ago. That one looks like someone knew
what they were doing at the time though

Friend of mine is in Costa Rica...the friend they're staying with has this.

Insane transformation - correct title for this video. Real Toyota conversion

My good buddy owns them. Marcus has mad skills. This truck has probably neve been to Victoria. He starting building the green cruiser in high school 25 years ago. A complete frame off. He blew up two engines before even leaving the driveway. A faulty fuel pump over pressurizing and dumping fuel into the oil. Realized the problem after roasting 2 chevy 350's.

First post 2025! Who owns this 80? Nice truck. Sitting up by Timberlands. Took the Tundra out, even found some interesting stuff

How's the Tundra off road Jon? Did you air down a bit? I would guess those M/T style tires do nicely?

Great picture!
Did not air down. 30 psi. Keep meaning to bring them down to 28 psi just for daily driving. They do very well. Like most auto guys, just hold against what stops me and slowly allow power to build and it crawls over. Not used to it. Problem with new vehicles is defined as ‘high shoulders’. The top of ledge of door sills is high because of crash impact safety. But makes it damned hard to see over them off road. Old Land Cruisers you can put your arm on, not these trucks. Like pointing an Abraham’s tank down some of these tracks! Mirrors beware. Turning radius is ok, tires reach max turn with no rubbing anywhere so that’s nice. I had the 4 Coopers freshly mounted on factory alloy rims in the back, so extra 400 lbs too. Makes a difference.
BTW, Timberlands is opened up. Gates are open. Anyone who wants to test their truck I can point you at trails that will take you to 100% effort. Exo and roll cages required on many. My Cruiser is too pretty and I’m too old to fix it so I plan to push some of these, chainsaw a couple of narrow spots.
But there are some of my old original ATV trails I started 17-18 yrs ago are now grown up and no longer hidden tracks. But this is pretty rough for street trucks, with windows, mirrors and stuff

I know that spot, after I walked in there I figured I should have drove my Ford right on there. A little long for that rock though.
I was going to come around it from the other way, could have got a bigger truck on there -
Ya know, for that perfect poser shot!, LOL Actually I like the shot cause it how the truck will sit
with the lowering kit, nice and even. It’s short, clears stuff pretty easy.
I live a mile from there, what kind of cruiser have you got? I might push the 74 down a few of
these trails but I really need to fix it with a winch first.

It's an 80 series with a 60 series front grille

Thanks I got a message last night from a friend saying that's what it was. Said it was a thing in Japan.
Weird, much easier to get the proper 60 look than a full body swap for sure.

Kinda fugly to me if I'm honest.

Not sure if that kit comes with those fenders or if they're just regular 80 series, either way, the lines don't look right.

Sometimes fugly things with lines that don’t look just right are still fine! My brain was going one way but I reeled it back in….ya know, family friendly and all.

Monkey f*cking a football comes to mind...
I guess if you've had enough to drink (or too much), anything can look good! The down-swoop/up-swoop (depending on how you look at it) line on the front fender is a little off; there seems to be one where the line starts at the top of side light and flows back, a more natural look...
