Fossil hunting with teh kids on Saturday. This is a pit just across the road from kissinger lake campground. There is a gate to this pit, but a bit further down the road is a fun little bypass around that.

I grew up off of Maxey Rd in Nanaimo.
Really cool property, lots of caves to climb around in, and a ton of fossils.
Always hoped to find something really cool like a trilobite (or a grey alien or a T-rex
)But mostly just found ferns.
