Ours was backed right up under the cliff, the big cliff with all the round hollows in it. Long ass driveway with a big cave at the bottom. About the 3rd or 4th drive on the right coming off the east wellington end.

Cliffs run all along that road behind the houses. Used to be some caves with multiple entrances


No freeway when we lived there tho, think my folks sold it in 87 or 88 or so.

always amazed no idiots on dirtbikes went off that cliff, they were always ripping around up there.

I'm sure I've been there...crawled around most of those cliff areas with the rest of the dirty little redneck kids in that neighborhood back in the day

Copper Canyon gate was open for the day. I’ve not been up there in 12 or so years. The old miner
machine or whatever it did used to be right in the forest near Rheinhart Lake access I think. Just gouged
the s*** out of that area. Cool geology by the Chemainus River. I managed to find my way back to the main
island power line and behind Coronation and Hall Mtns. There is a gate right where I used to sneak through
in my FJ40 It’s got a go around be a bit awkward but doable I think. In April when I get back I’ll come in from
Timberlands side see how it goes. High country snow should be more manageable by then. Good day though.
Spur of the moment, didn’t call anyone. Sorry.

I've been messaging the owner of this truck. Its recovery gear in the hood box.
Not my idea but probably has sand boards in there as well.
Sigh, wish we could get those here although from what I understand, importing for us isn't
a whole lot more expensive than what they cost in SA.
