That’s all I got the OME shocks limit more travel.

Yeah the OME shock on the high side was fully compressed, might be able to get a bit more droop out of the far side. Unfortunately the shock stops the travel before the bump stop I might have to do something about that. I don’t have large tires like a lot of trucks in that thread so perspective might be a bit skewed and the front does flex more. The 60’s have enough weight to fully flex the leaf springs unlike my 40. The ome suspension I have is very soft and flexible but I do have some limitations to work out.

Shocks are fine to limit droop, actually supposed to , limiting up travel by having the shock act as a bump is less good...

Half the lift kits out there say you need to move your bump stops down when installing them, hardly anyone ever does. :meh:

You remind me though, I need to get some longer shocks on the front of my 40. They're waay too short. Also want to redo my bumps up there . There's something about them I don't like.

I’ll see your three cans and raise you a boulder...

I think you need to work on those shock mounts.

I’ve got a 60 pack in the rear under the stock 40 main leaf. To do it over, were it ‘92 again, I’d have kept the longer 60 mains... live and learn.

After years of f***ing around with various crappy drain pans that splash oil everywhere, not one of them works as well as this.

Worst part is still trying to wind the filter through the maze of hoses and wires without dumping it everywhere.

Nice! I use a 10l version. Gets pretty full, but easy to move without spilling due to being narrow.

Nice. This clears the frame by about ¼" haha...

Managed to NOT end up wearing a filter full of oil...but the paranoia that I'd bump something putting the new one back in and have a chunk of s*** fall into it was strong as ever

It's like that old operation board game...

25 years ago I had the bell crank develop some play while out wheeling... I didn’t notice it till hit the pavement. When I pulled over at a friends to investigate, I found a bolt had loosened off. Closer investigating revealed a box end wrench on the second bolt inside that section of frame. Since then I’ve been in the habit of triple checking torque and looking over all the work. I especially check over any work done by ‘professionals’. They’re responsible for some of the most surprising things I’ve seen.
