My order hasn't been shipped still (After 10 days since payment). Called toyota decatur and Eric (the online parts order person) said its gonna take another week as it require extensive packing, hence the delay.
That's nothing... Some of the past orders took 8-10 weeks to ship. That's why I started ordering with other dealers in the region. When someone posts that Serra has a sale, I search for nearby dealers on the map (since I'm out of state) and find out if they are also having a sale, then pricematch Serra. Get my orders much faster now.

My CV came. Packed reasonably well in foam but the dust shield still ended up dented in 2 spots. I emailed them back with pics, so we'll see what the options are. For those who have encountered this issue, what was the final result? Did you send the CV back? Did they send a replacement dust shield and rubber seal, and if so how do you install it without the SST?

That sucks for sure. Second time this happened to you?

Some dealers do a packing foam thing that seemingly is bespoke for whatever they are shipping. As in they put in the part on top of the packing stuff and then they vacuum activate the foam bit. It may help have this not happen again.

First time for me.

They wrapped the entire larger (inner) CV end in foam, but really what they needed to do was wrap just the metal inner CV section in foam or cardboard so that the dust shield is suspended in mid air, so to speak. Anything which touches that shield is going to damage it if it shifts around.

I was able to bend mine back but my dents were smaller than yours. Still worth a shot as I doubt you’d make it worse as long as you’re careful.

If you're in need of parts in central Florida, Lexus Wesley Chapel is offering additional 20% off their online parts. $100 credit towards shipping as well.

8 to 10 weeks for shipping? man I will be getting the parts in December at this rate shucks
Look at the bright side - you’ll be able to place another order with the (hopefully) upcoming day after thanksgiving sale at another dealer and have parts before Christmas from both orders!

I received my order 10 days after my order date. everything intact. I dont think 8-10 weeks is a norm.

I think you e seen my posts in the other thread on bent dust covers. Yours are not bad. I’d just carefully bend the back the best you can. Will not need to be perfect.

I have up on getting good ones and Serra is just refunding my money.

just ordered a set of (4). FJ40 steel wheels and hub caps. Best deal around.

Steel Wheels -42601-60072 (4)
Center Caps w/o Hole - 42621-60010-86 (2)
Center Caps With Hole - 42621-60020-86 (2)

Shortly anyways.

New sales starts next week. Received email
Now all I need are @bloc part recommendations for stuff to keep on the shelf along with all my other stuff already on the shelf. @ryanCA might be impressed with my air filter collection I’ve amassed for some reason.

Seriously though - did the TRD oil filters ever come back? Or are they gone forever?

I wasn’t able to get them as recently as a couple weeks ago.

Good to know. Another data point for them being gone for good.

Are any dealers shipping coolant? Without any ridiculous charges, shenanigans of course. Serra (Decatur) was my go-to and they won’t ship. Tia.

Given the recent CCN video about how all these rigs are living on borrowed time, I’ve got my fifth head gasket repair like @ryanCA suggests as PM every 5k miles coming up. I don’t want to be without it!

Seriously though. I am hoping to get coolant shipped. If you’re worried about an onslaught of orders, a DM would be appreciated. I’ll keep it under my hat. Again - tia
