Checking both those sites and I’m unable to locate the differential oil or the mode from gold T-case oil.

The 75w tcase fluid has a couple well regarded alternatives (coming from a guy only using the unicorn tears Toyo stuff to this point) from HPL, ravenol, etc.

The diff fluid has a ton of great alternatives. Nothing special about the Mobil/exxon rebadged oil. My take anyways.

I’ve read the threads and, deep down, agree. It’s one of those old mindsets I gotta break I guess. I have 2 cans of the Toyota stuff now and not sure I wanna mix it with another brand but that may also be a old mindset thing now a days.

You’re right in not wanting to mix different manufacturers oils. Sometimes the additive packs don’t mix well. That’s a good habit to keep.

You can always use what you have and see if you want to keep going for your next tcase service. I am going to switch from the canned leprechaun fart 75w Toyota stuff on my next change. The diffs will now get HPL switching from amsoil severe gear.

Is ordering bronze heritage wheels a good deal at 25% off or can you find them elsewhere cheaper.

I don’t know of anywhere to get the forged bbs wheels for cheaper if you want the Toyota badging. But you might be able to find them second hand.

Keep in mind these prices aren’t always the cheapest. I had about $225 worth of stuff in my cart at Serra and on a whim added the same to my PartSouq cart and even with shipping it was $25 cheaper. Is it a huge deal? No, but I was looking to buy some maintenance items while they were on sale but I don’t need to do that now. I’ll just get them on partsouq when I need them.

I’m not familiar with HPL but I’ll check them out, I use Amsoil for the engine.

I think I read somewhere about ARB recommending particular gear oil for their air lockers as well… I need to go down this rabbit hole I guess.

Get ready for a deep dive. Amsoil is good. I think HPL is a weeeee bit better (marginal cost is worth it imo).

Their website isn’t great, but their products are top tier. I’d rather them have an antiquated website and amazing product than vice versa.

My local dealer has joined the autoparts.xxxxxtoyota.com family of parts sites, so I was hoping they were going to start taking part in these sales. But I guess not. It's better than nothing, but certainly not as good as Serra/Fred Anderson.

Also, I checked Serra, and of course they have the sale going as well.

thank you for posting usable links instead of screen caps ;)

Thank you for admitting that you lack the competency and/or work ethic to type "Fred Anderson Toyoya" into a Google search, which would have required less effort than the reply to this thread... 👍

I got an email from FA indicating a 25% off sale on parts from now to 4/15. Having had a prior bad experience with a similar email from them, I am not going to take part but wanted to pass along this info for any who do. Sent from ynewton@anderson-auto.net

What happened?? I have had great luck with them. My order from Decatur was endlessly delayed.
I don't to rehash completely, but a similar setup to this email. Bait and switch though on percentage discount. It was a small sum for sure, but to me what separates good from bad companies is how they handle mistakes. FA did not honor their printed sale pricing. I had great experiences prior to that point.

I have since used other dealers. YMMV.
