Wood cut and installed in the trailer. All that is left is to drill the holes for the floor and start installing accessories.

Well, started outside, but quickly realized the edges were not going to get up to temp so in the oven at 450° it went for about an hour and a half. Cooling currently. Gonna have to try it out one night this week.

Saw one of those GoFastCamper tents this weekend. Super solid design. This one goes over the truck bed and is also accessible from the floor, with sliding/reconfigurable panels. Very well thought out, made in Bozeman, MT. The tent wall material is a lightweight pvc coated fabric like what the ARB shade canopy is enclosed in. The frame is extruded aluminum with t-slots all around.

Those GFC's are pretty slick, and apparently er'body thinks so. I was checkong their site out and they aren't even taking orders, just reservations...

How does the bottom access work? Is there a panel you open or slide away ?

I think three panels. All removable.

That removable floor is only for the pickup truck version which includes the orange bed cage and metal doors on three sides. Just the tent itself is $3500.

I've been following GFC for awhile on instagram. Pretty slick, but not a fan of how the side cross bars block bed access from the side. Still, a tundra with this setup would be mighty tempting.
